3. Hard Reset Chromebook

Performing a hard reset may result in losing unsaved work, So what you can do, you must close all the chrome tabs and log out.

Holding the Ctrl and Shift keys and pressing Q twice is the quickest way to log out manually. Alternatively, you can tap the notification area and then select the Sign out button. Because most Chromebooks lacks a dedicated reset button, the default method is to hold the refresh button and tap the power button. Your Chromebook should restart immediately.
