1. First step is to search Google meet on the browser.

3. Now you will see the three-dot at the, so you have to click on those dots and then you will see various options there. The first option you will see there is to change the background.
4. Click on the change background option, you can see various background options there such as slightly blur and blur your background and various other backgrounds such as cafe at night, purple clouds, etc.
5. If you want to add any other background image so in that case, you have to click on the plus option there and you can upload the image on meet so that you can use that image as a google meet background.
6.Now click on whatever background image you want on a meet and then in just a single click, it will come into the background.
7. So friends now google meet background is changed, You can now join the meeting.
Change background in google meet after starting a video call
1. First you have to click on more option which is there in the image below at the bottom right underlined with redline.
2. After clicking on more option you will see various options so out of that you have to click on the change background option. which is underlined with black colour.
3. Now you can select the background whichever you want and can enjoy the video call
Note: Your camera will automatically turn on when you will click on change background.
Prerequisites before changing background on google meet
If you are unable to use the Change background option, it is possible that you do not meet the following requirements:
- First, you have to check the browser version that supports the change background option or not.
- The Chrome version that supports the change background option is M84 or above on Windows, Mac, or Linux.
- Version M86 or above on chrome OS.
- If you don't have the given version of chrome then you can upgrade it
- Chrome with Hardware acceleration enabled
- A WebGL 2.0-capable browser.
- It is a 64-bit operating system.
